The Hon. Dan Brouillette
The Honorable Dan R. Brouillette is a distinguished leader in energy, finance, and government policy with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. As President of Sempra Infrastructure, he played a key role in transforming the company from a regional LNG and pipeline operator into a global energy powerhouse, overseeing major projects such as the $13 billion Port Arthur LNG export facility, one of the largest in the United States.
Previously, as the 15th U.S. Secretary of Energy, Brouillette spearheaded breakthroughs in nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and energy storage. Under his leadership, the Department of Energy developed the world’s two fastest supercomputers and restarted the nation’s civilian enrichment capabilities, paving the way for small modular and advanced nuclear reactors. He is widely credited with stabilizing global oil markets during the COVID-19 pandemic and facilitating historic energy negotiations between Israel and key Middle Eastern nations. He is the only person to have served as both Deputy Secretary and Secretary of Energy.
Brouillette received Distinguished Public Service Medals from the Secretaries of Defense and State and previously held senior executive roles at USAA and Ford Motor Company. He holds an MBA from Tulane University and a Master’s n National Security and Intelligence from The Citadel. A former U.S. Army tank commander and guest lecturer at the Army War College, he now serves as a visiting scholar and Executive-in-Residence at Tulane University and as a distinguished advisor to the KBH Energy Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.

The Hon. Mateusz Morawiecki
Mateusz Morawiecki is a Polish politician who served as the Prime Minister of Poland from 2017 to 2023, and is currently the leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) party in the European Parliament. Before his premiership, he held positions as Minister of Finance and Minister of Development and enjoyed a successful career in banking, including as President of the Management Board at Bank Zachodni WBK Group.

Amb. Geoffrey Pyatt
Amb. Geoff Pyatt, Senior Managing Director of the Energy and Critical Minerals Practice, has held leadership positions at the Department of State during a distinguished 35-year career in the US foreign service. He served as the US’s chief energy diplomat as Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources (2022-2025), where he led US diplomacy to mobilize international support for Ukrainian energy resilience and counter Russian weaponization of energy resilience. In this role, Amb. Pyatt also led negotiations with US allies on energy partnerships and critical mineral agreements.
Prior to this posting, Amb. Pyatt served as Ambassador to Greece (2016-2022) across the Obama, Trump and Biden administrations, and was the US Ambassador to Ukraine (2013-2016). Earlier in his career, Amb. Pyatt was the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs as well as the Deputy Chief of Mission for the US Mission to International Organizations in Vienna, Austria. Amb. Pyatt has been nominated for the honor of Career Ambassador – the US Foreign Service’s highest rank – and is the recipient of numerous federal honors, including the Presidential Meritorious Service Award and Secretary of Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award.

The Hon. Rick Perry
Prior to joining the Administration of President Donald J. Trump, Perry served as the 47th Governor of Texas. As Governor of the Lone Star State, Perry championed conservative principles that helped Texas become America’s economic engine. Governor Perry is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having flown C-130 tactical aircraft in Europe and the Middle East. He is deeply involved with supporting the active duty and veteran community.
Perry earned distinction early in his life as an Eagle Scout. He was one of the first in his family to go to college, earning a degree from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and a Yell Leader.
He is a lifetime member of both the NRA and American Legion Post #75. Perry married his childhood sweetheart, Anita, in 1982. They have two children, two beautiful grand-daughters, and a grandson who was born on the 4th of July.

Sir Patrick Sanders
Born in Tidworth Garrison military hospital and raised in Norway, Gibraltar and Iraq, General Sir Patrick Sanders was commissioned in 1986 and spent his early service as an Infantry Officer in The Royal Green Jackets in Germany, Norway and the UK. He has commanded on operations in Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
His staff appointments have been in operational and strategic roles. He has been a member of the Directing Staff at the Joint Staff College, Pol/Mil adviser for the Commander of Coalition Forces in Iraq in 2003-4, Colonel Army Strategy, Chief of Defence Staff’s Liaison Officer to the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Assistant Chief of Defence Staff (Operations) in the MOD.
His higher command appointments were 20 Armoured Brigade, the 3rd (UK) Division and the Field Army. He was promoted to General in May 2019 and commanded UK Strategic Command until May 2022. He became Chief of the General Staff in June 2022.
He is Colonel Commandant of The Rifles and the Honourable Artillery Company, and President of the Armed Forces Winter Sports Association. He speaks French and Norwegian, colloquial Spanish and can tell when he is being insulted in Arabic, Pashtun, Dari, Albanian and Serbo-Croat. General Sanders enjoys cycling, all forms of skiing, shooting and whisky.

Thomas Storch
Thomas Storch has held prominent roles at the White House and the U.S. Department of Energy, including Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council. In this capacity, his portfolio focused on economic and national security policy, particularly in areas such as international trade, energy, and U.S. economic competitiveness.
Storch serves as the United States’ lead negotiator at the G20 and led the coordination of the G7 during the United States’ host year in 2020. At the White House, he co-led the development of the economic framework for the Peace to Prosperity plan for the Middle East and was part of the team that negotiated the Abraham Accords normalization agreements.
He also served as Senior Director for Global Economics, Finance, and Development at the National Security Council and as a senior official for international affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy. After his tenure in the White House, Storch became a Managing Director at Affinity Partners, focusing on energy and commodities. Storch holds a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard College and a M.A. from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, where he was awarded the Lawrence Freedman Prize.

Themistoklis Asthenidis
Themistoklis Asthenidis has two decades of experience as a political strategist in energy security, defence, and European politics. His work focuses on the geopolitical and strategic challenges facing Europe, with particular emphasis on energy security and resilience, transatlantic relations, and the evolving dynamics in Central and Eastern Europe.
Themistoklis has held senior roles in European politics, representing national governments and European institutions in defense and foreign policy, including high-level engagement with NATO, the OSCE, and other multilateral frameworks. A trained lawyer, he is educated at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Samuel Buchan
Samuel brings over a decade of experience shaping federal economic, energy, and national security strategy. He has held roles at the White House National Security Council (NSC) and National Economic Council (NEC), as well as the U.S. Department of Energy under President Donald J. Trump.
During his service on the NSC and NEC, Samuel led high-level engagements and negotiations with international partners on trade, energy security, environmental policy and infrastructure deployment. He also directed U.S. involvement in multilateral frameworks, such as the Group of Seven (G7), Group of Twenty (G20), and the International Energy Agency. In this role, Samuel was also responsible for managing strategic partnerships, including the U.S.-EU Energy Council, the Three Seas Initiative, and the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum.
Prior to his tenure at the White House, Samuel served as Senior Advisor to two U.S. Secretaries of Energy, during which time he spearheaded efforts to strengthen energy security, mitigate geopolitical risks, and support industry expansion of energy exports. Samuel was also the lead architect of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation, a multinational forum dedicated to advancing collaboration within Central and Eastern Europe to advance regional energy security in the face of geopolitical risk.
Naweed Khan
Naweed is a government strategy and policy specialist who, for over twenty years, has worked at the highest levels of British and European politics and business. Naweed has previously served as a Special Advisor at the Cabinet Office and at the UK’s Foreign Office, under Prime Minister David Cameron. He is also the former Executive Director of the New Direction Foundation, a (pan) European political think tank founded by Margaret Thatcher.
In the private sector, Naweed has worked as Head of External and Regulatory Affairs at AT&T-Warner Media, serving as the lead representative within the UK and Ireland.
Naweed was educated at the University of Cambridge and is an Honorary Professor at The School of Social Sciences and Humanities at Aston University.
